Anyways, the number of Diyas made for family members vary from home to home. Some make 1 Diya per family member, some make 2 for each.
Yes, unmarried members tie double Sagdo.
Again number of Titars/Pudi/Satpuda/Roat per member varies from family to family. In our family we make 1 for each.but others make 2 or more per family member. Also in our family we make Roat for all family members irrespective of gender.

Whether sorhi is to be handed over to brahmin at the time of hearing mahalakshmi puja ?
