Ingredients List

Many of visitors of this site, ask me about the brands of specific products and ingredients, I use in my daily cooking and the spices that are must in my kitchen.I have replied to individual queries as and when possible. But finally I thought to enlist all the ingredients that stuff my refrigerator and pantry. Maybe this comes in handy for some of you , maybe you can suggest some other brands or some more ‘must-have-spices’ or ingredients.Be sure the Ingredients list will keep on growing 😉

NOTE: This is not at all a paid endorsement..I seriously vouch for the brands I have mentioned below after trying many brands for each spice/ingredient. If you can suggest some better, kindly share it via comments section.

Spices:I generally prefer spices that are ground at home or the local mill, but when that is not possible (due to me being allergic to the dust lingering around while grinding spices and unavailability of local flour mill/spice mill in close vicinity), I prefer MDH brand of spices, Everest brand being the next best option !

  1. Thanks Alka for sharing This list with us. Check out Lazeez fish curry masala for all those mock fish lovers, it is the best so far I found and goes very well with paneer and arbi/kachalu too.

    Love your sindhi recipes. I will try out some MDH brands but will highly recommend Priya Garam Masala. Please add some more sindhi recipes. Thanks a ton for your efforts!
