A heavy heart, a restless mind, an off mood and a headache ..all are hindering my attempts to have a hearty conversation with you all today. But I have got a recipe to share with some lovely people, who wanted to know some more ways to relish Lotus stem or Beeh(Bhein). So here I go anyway… Sindhis tend to like Beeh, though it is bland in taste and could be awful with all its HAIRY TALES, but trust me if you can, slicing it in right way, cooking it till perfectly done and combining it with some flavorful spices, is all…

Now that IPL is finally over(Thank God),overlooking all the crap that surrounds it now, I am in better control of myself and the kid.Though this year I managed to keep myself away from most of the matches, our little one ,who is a keen follower , cried buckets as soon as he SNIFFED the fishy fall of Mumbai Indians, a team he supported like anything, so much that he even insisted on wearing the MI T-shirt ,every time his favorite team was playing.I was disappointed too, but then the tender mind of our little fellow was deeply hurt and despite…

Summer being officially in, its time for School Vacation here in India. Vacation….sounds Music to my ears…No morning rush, no Tiffin worries and no studies-related stress. But then vacation do mean, keeping your little one, fruitfully occupied. Computer games, Television are good for just a limited period of time, though kids beg to differ on that. And it needs to be a real courageous Mother to let the kid play outdoors during afternoons, when Sun is all set (or rose to?) to make life miserable, with all its sultriness. So while mornings and evenings are good for some outdoor activities, afternoons are…

The past whole week was as tedious as it could be. On one hand the kid is facing his final exams at school, which in turn means more of my involvement in his studies, and on other hand, the erratic behavior of this blog (SindhiRasoi) left no stone unturned to drive me crazy. It actually started few weeks back when some friends complained of the crazy way the blog was behaving , with some links working at some point and going kaput at other time. Brushing it off as just some temporary technical glitch, I actually didn’t paid much attention.…

Who likes to mess up with life? Who loves complications? If given a choice who prefers walking on a long hurdled road to a smooth drive? Raise your hands, if you like to get in the way of things, if you like to be in a tricky situation, if trouble is a name of your best pal…. I really, really want to see how do crazy people look like 😉 The gibberish geek talks just put me off, while simple straight forward vocabulary really amazes me. I really can’t understand why people need to take a long unnecessary route to…

Change…is inevitable ! Yeah, That’s what everyone says, and that’s what I believe now, finally! Not many Moons back, I was one rigid person, who was always afraid of changes, positive or negative, and who preferred to nest in comfort zones of her life.Any change small or big, scared me like hell. But life being a strict Master, it teaches you everything that you are reluctant to learn. So no longer I am afraid of changes, infact now I try to welcome changes :-)..see I have changed now 😉 So what else had changed?Hmm..many things…. The season, the food, the Food…
